When it comes to finding the ideal spot for an air purifier, the closer to your breathing area, the better. In a bedroom, this usually means placing it on a nightstand or bedside table near the bed. For optimal performance, you can also suspend it on the wall, 3-5 feet off the ground. This way, it can take advantage of airflows in the room.
If you have a suitable table, you can also place your air purifier on top of it. Alternatively, you can look for wall-mounted air purifiers that naturally sit off the floor and can take advantage of higher positions without taking up space. When selecting a location for your air cleaner, intercepting contaminants at your point of entry is extremely effective. However, if you have more than one device that filters, humidifies, or dehumidifies the air or even the air conditioner, you should consider which one to use.
For example, if you have a Coway air purifier, lifting it up is perfect because it will allow as much air access as possible. You should also keep air purifiers at a proper distance from your bed as stronger air purifiers can create a strong airflow that can disrupt your sleep if they are too close. Additionally, make sure not to place an air purifier behind furniture as this will prevent it from sucking all the air in the room. Smaller Medify Air air purifiers, Levoit and Coway units, for example, can be easily placed on the desk. While air purifiers are good at removing particles from the air, they don't remove moisture from the air.
As charged particles adhere to dirty air particles, dirt particles fall out of the air and fall to a nearby surface. An air purifier is an excellent addition to the home if you are looking for something that will help you breathe better. In addition to that, I do research on air quality and air pollution, and I also try to raise awareness of those problems in my environment.
